In-Home NJ Newborn Photos with Charlie

I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and Scott’s wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor just less than a year ago. When they reached out to me to photograph their sweet baby, Charlie, I was ecstatic! If you read my blog, you will know I fall in love with every lovely baby I photograph. Baby Charlie was no exception. With the most adorable chubby cheeks and sweet nature, she is sure to win your heart too. Enjoy some of my favorite NJ Newborn Photos from our photo session shortly after she was born.

The newborn shoot was at home, so we had a chance to take some family photos in the nursery. Laura and Scott held their daughter close for the first professional photos in her album. Of course, those family portraits had to include their pet pup. He was still getting used to this new addition and was very gentle and sweet. No doubt they will become best friends as they grow up together.

NJ Newborn Photos Inspired By Mauve, Sage, and Blush

But first, as Mom had requested, we took NJ Newborn Photos of Charlie sleeping in mauve, dusty pink, and sage wraps and accessories. This dreamy color palette was really lovely, and when we finally had little Charlie swaddled into dreamy land, it was easy to get a fantastic collection of images. The mauve set with Charlie in the heart-shaped flower basket is gorgeous. Just a hint of grumpy face added to the adorableness, and you can’t help but feel like she’s an old soul. The sage look was a bit more modern, and she was holding on tight to her teddy bear and toes, cozied up in a cute sleep suit and fluffy hat. For the pink look, tiny hands and feet, baby rolls, and snoozy expressions were perfectly highlighted. We also wrapped Charlie in a tallit in honor of her Jewish heritage.

It was such a joy to photograph this lovely family and capture so many adorable NJ Newborn Photos. I look forward to documenting them again as they celebrate life’s milestones, including birthdays, family reunions, and more.
