If I am being honest, my personality is quirky, fun, extremely organized, introverted, and slightly awkward. I love comedy movies, fluffy puppies, Starbucks, sunshine, the Tennessee mountains, and hard rock music.
I am a mother to one handsome boy, a wife to a woodworking obsession husband that has 20 hobbies, and a dog-mama to three rowdy puppers. Since I was a little girl I loved stealing my parents camera, which recorded images to floppy-disk if you can remember those!
I want to make beautiful, light-filled, warm images that will live on your walls, and not just on your hard drive. My home is filled with photographs, and as many times that we’ve poured over our albums, I find myself frequently flipping through our heirlooms. When you hire me as your photographer, you can expect lots of play, beautiful light, and smiles, often along the shore. They are relaxed, stress-free, and fun!

A snapshot into my life
You know that feeling when you wake up before anyone else in the house, it's dark and quiet and you're greeted with the sweet smell of coffee? Ugh, that is my dream morning!
If I could have a solid two hours every morning of utter silence and peace. But typically my morning consist of an early toddler waking, dogs barking in the yard at a deer, and the TV not working when I want it to. But hey, a mama can dream of quiet mornings with her coffee, right?!

My Favorite Things
If I could have a kennel of dogs, I would. We are dog people and if you visit our home, you will absolutely be leaving with some glitter (aka dog hir). If we didn't travel with our dogs everywhere we go, we would probably have more dogs!
Needless to say, if you bring your pup to a session I will completely melt over them. Dogs of all ages will always be a puppy to me. I highly encourage you to bring your fluff butts with you to your session!

If I could move to the Tennessee mountains, I would in a heartbeat! Something about the southern charm, mountain air, and hospitality just speaks to my soul. We try to travel to Tennessee at least once a year.
We are trying to find property to buy in the Tennessee mountains so we have a permanent spot to travel too. It is a dream of ours to retire in the mountains, and I am determined to make this dream a reality!
Traveling
I could write paragraphs about how amazing Nikki was during our family shoot and our newborn shoot for our twins! But to keep it short and sweet I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful pictures of your family or sweet babies! She makes you feel so comfortable, works with always moving toddlers, and takes the time to soothe your sweet new babies to capture the best possible images! I will forever cherish and appreciate our pictures from Nikki! And will be using her again for future shoots!

Nikki is AMAZING! She went above and beyond for out maternity photoshoot, the weather was terrible, with high speed winds by the beach and the pictures were perfect! Everyone complimented how beautiful and natural they were. She also made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun during the photoshoot!

If i can give Nikki more than 5 stars I would. I booked a mini photo session with her and I am extremely happy I did. Her communication is great and answered any questions i had prior to the shoot, she allowed access to her client closet, and she was super friendly, it seemed like i knew her forever. During the shoot she gave me different poses to do, but at the end she even asked if I had any ideas or if i wanted a certain pose to be done. She was very open which made it a fun shoot. This lead to BEAUTIFUL pictures, I couldnt be happier. I cant wait to order some pictures to put around the house. I will deff be booking with Nikki again!
