Sessions can be in my studio or at your home. In either location, the mood will be warm, cozy, and relaxing. My studio has space for parents to relax, and your home is always lovely.
Beforehand, I will send you my detailed guide on preparing for the baby's first photo shoot. Also, we will talk about the color palette, theme, and aesthetics so I can create dreamy images that will exceed your expectations.

Lifestyle sessions are designed to be a hands-off styled session These sessions take place in the comfort of your home, or in the studio, and does not include any props or outfits.
I help pose you in the most iconic and flattering poses. For sessions in the studio I offer a bed where you can snuggle with baby as well as wrap options if you choose.

When you arrive to the studio I will have everything set up for your little one so we can start capturing right away!

The newborn Experience
Ideally, newborn photography sessions happen in the first two weeks from birth. This is the time when your little angel is still in the sleepy stage and can easily be lulled back to sleep for photos. We can get a better variety of poses in these very early days too.
It is still possible to capture newborn photos within three months of birth. For example, if your baby is in the NICU or mom needs time to heal, we may need to take the photos later.

I don’t believe that New Jersey newborn photography is one-size-fits-all! The first step towards working with each other is determining if we are the perfect fit for each other!
After getting to know each other online through emails, texts, or even a video chat, we can determine if we’re a match made in heaven. If we are, then we’ll move on to the booking process
2. Schedule it

Once you decide you'd like to move forward I'll send you a custom quote where you can review your package details and pay your retainer to make everything officially official! We base the session off of your due date. Once the baby is born, you will reach out to officially schedule the session.
3. Planning it
Maybe you need outfit inspiration for you and the family, or maybe you are wondering when the best time to capture newborn photos are. Regardless I have all the advice when planning your session. If you need help choosing the right colors or patterns for your outfits, how to prepare the kiddos for the session, I am here for you!
Newborn sessions are best captured within 14 days of birth. However, the session can be extended further if mama or baby needs more time to recover.
4. Your Session
Today is the day! Your baby and session is finally here! With so much going on with a newborn baby now in your lives, you deserve a relaxing moment. Feel pampered, feel loved, and feel beautiful because mama you deserve it!
I handle everything for the session! I have all the outfits, bows, bonnets, wraps, and props your little once could ever need. I also have a client closet for you mama. I can even handle babies feeding if you are bootle feeding. So sit back and relax on the comfy studio couch watching TV or even taking a nap.
5. Your Photographs
After your session you can expect a sneak peek of your images on social media within 72 hours of your session. I meticulously edit each and every image by hand with takes some time. All great things take time I like so say! I have a reputation of delivering my galleries earlier than expected, but as a rule of thumb, you can expect your final gallery will be delivered within 4-8 weeks from your session date.
If you would like to have artwork of the newborn session, now is the best time to start the process of designing your heirlooms!

Expect detail shots of those tiny fingers and toes, long lashes and locks of hair, gorgeous close-ups of your new love's face, and a diverse collection of baby photos in those adorable outfits, snug wraps and swaddles, and soft blankets. I have a collection you might like to borrow from, and you can bring your own too.
All newborn sessions include retouching, which includes removing any redness, scratches, or blemishes.

I could write paragraphs about how amazing Nikki was during our family shoot and our newborn shoot for our twins! But to keep it short and sweet I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful pictures of your family or sweet babies! She makes you feel so comfortable, works with always moving toddlers, and takes the time to soothe your sweet new babies to capture the best possible images! I will forever cherish and appreciate our pictures from Nikki! And will be using her again for future shoots!

Nikki is AMAZING! She went above and beyond for out maternity photoshoot, the weather was terrible, with high speed winds by the beach and the pictures were perfect! Everyone complimented how beautiful and natural they were. She also made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun during the photoshoot!

If i can give Nikki more than 5 stars I would. I booked a mini photo session with her and I am extremely happy I did. Her communication is great and answered any questions i had prior to the shoot, she allowed access to her client closet, and she was super friendly, it seemed like i knew her forever. During the shoot she gave me different poses to do, but at the end she even asked if I had any ideas or if i wanted a certain pose to be done. She was very open which made it a fun shoot. This lead to BEAUTIFUL pictures, I couldnt be happier. I cant wait to order some pictures to put around the house. I will deff be booking with Nikki again!
