As a South Jersey newborn photographer, newborn sessions are best scheduled when your baby is between 1–3 weeks old. During this time, babies are naturally sleepier, allowing me to create soft, timeless portraits. Sessions can take place in my Tuckerton, NJ studio or in your home for a relaxed experience. My studio is fully stocked with wraps, outfits, and props, and I’ll send you a detailed prep guide beforehand. Together we’ll plan the colors and styling to create dreamy newborn portraits you’ll love for years to come.

Seaside sessions take place only in Long Beach Island or Tuckerton, NJ. I bring everything for your little one, making a smooth and stress-free seaside session!
Sessions take place at sunrise or sunset, as this is the best time for lighting and baby cooperation. For the baby's comfort, this package is only bookable for April through September due dates. Images include the clam shell and boat prop as well as different colored swaddles.

Lifestyle sessions typically take place in your home and consist of mostly family photos, as well as a few solo shots of the new baby. These sessions have a "hands-off" approach, typically capturing the baby naturally.

I don’t believe that newborn photography is one-size-fits-all! If you are someone that recognizes you want joyful, timeless portraits not just pretty pictures, then you are in the right place. I pride myself in offering an incredible EXPERIENCE! The first step towards working with each other is determining if we are the perfect fit for each other!
After getting to know each other online through emails, texts, or even a video chat, we can determine if we’re a match made in heaven. If we are, then we’ll move on to the booking process

Yay!! You were made to become part of the family! Now let’s make sure your date is safe and secure so that we can make this dream a reality!!!
Once you decide you'd like to move forward I'll send you a custom quote where you can review your package details and pay your retainer to make everything officially official! We base the session off of your due date. Once the baby is born, you will reach out to officially schedule the session.
3. Planning it
Maybe you need outfit inspiration for you and the family, or maybe you are wondering when the best time to capture newborn photos are. Regardless I have all the advice when planning your session. If you need help choosing the right colors or patterns for your outfits, how to prepare the kiddos for the session, I am here for you!
Newborn sessions are best captured within 21 days of birth. However, the session can be extended further if mama or baby needs more time to recover.
4. Your Session
Today is the day! Your baby and session is finally here! With so much going on with a newborn baby now in your lives, you deserve a relaxing moment. Feel pampered, feel loved, and feel beautiful because mama you deserve it!
I handle everything for the session! I have all the outfits, bows, bonnets, wraps, and props your little once could ever need. I also have a client closet for you mama. I can even handle babies feeding if you are bootle feeding. So sit back and relax on the comfy studio couch watching TV or even taking a nap.
5. Your Photographs
After your session you can expect a sneak peek of your images on social media within 72 hours of your session. I meticulously edit each and every image by hand with takes some time. All great things take time I like so say! I have a reputation of delivering my galleries earlier than expected, but as a rule of thumb, you can expect your final gallery will be delivered within 4-8 weeks from your session date.
If you would like to have artwork of the newborn session, now is the best time to start the process of designing your heirlooms!
Most South Jersey newborn photographers, including me, recommend booking in your second trimester to ensure availability in the first few weeks after birth.

If i can give Nikki more than 5 stars I would. Nikki is the best South Jersey newborn photographer! Our baby’s photos are absolutely stunning.. Her communication is great and answered any questions i had prior to the shoot, she allowed access to her client closet, and she was super friendly, it seemed like i knew her forever. During the shoot she gave me different poses to do, but at the end she even asked if I had any ideas or if i wanted a certain pose to be done. She was very open which made it a fun shoot. This lead to BEAUTIFUL pictures, I couldnt be happier. I cant wait to order some pictures to put around the house. I will deff be booking with Nikki again!
