Maternity and Newborn Photography | A Luxury Experience

Amy’s maternity and newborn photography journey was everything I love about what I do. First, she came into my studio for her complimentary maternity mini session. Then, we planned her in-home newborn session to capture her growing family. Because of that, we created a seamless and meaningful maternity and newborn photography experience from start to finish.

She chose a gown I had been waiting forever to use. And honestly, it could not have been more perfect. The soft, flowing fabric with delicate shimmer details photographed beautifully. This gown is one of my favorites! Meanwhile, the neutral tones complemented my bright, airy studio style. As a result, every image felt elegant, timeless, and full of emotion.

The soft white backdrop kept the focus completely on her. Additionally, the natural light wrapped around her so gently. Her smile, her posture, and even the way she held her belly told a story. One of the best parts about maternity and newborn photography is how everything connects. After her maternity session, we moved into planning her newborn session at home. This allowed us to keep everything relaxed and personal.

For her newborn session, Amy wanted to incorporate a variety of elements. So, we blended soft textures, neutral tones, and delicate details throughout. The baby was wrapped in cozy fabrics and placed on fluffy layers. Meanwhile, we added sweet headbands and simple outfits to keep the focus on her tiny features.

Because we were in their home, everything felt even more meaningful. Additionally, we captured both styled portraits and natural moments. As a result, their gallery felt both polished and deeply personal. This is exactly why I always recommend maternity and newborn photography together.
