Newborn and Maternity LBI photography with Vanessa and Matt

Watching families grow is one of my favorite parts of working in LBI photography. Vanessa and Matt’s journey has been especially meaningful to capture. I photographed their engagement, wedding, maternity, and now their beautiful newborn session. Because of that, this session felt incredibly emotional and special.

For their maternity photos, we returned to the exact locations from their engagement session. We photographed at the lighthouse and along the beach paths again. However, this time they arrived with a baby girl on the way. It truly felt like a full circle moment. Their wedding took place on LBI too, at Hotel LBI!

Vanessa looked absolutely stunning during her maternity session. She chose casual outfits that photographed beautifully against the soft beach tones. Meanwhile, the windy beach weather added so much movement and emotion to the images. I always encourage couples to embrace the natural elements during sessions. Therefore, these photos felt authentic and relaxed.

One reason I love LBI photography is the variety of beautiful locations across the island. The lighthouse and beach paths already held memories for Vanessa and Matt. Now those same spots tell an even bigger story. Years from now, they can look back and remember every chapter.

Additionally, their chemistry made photographing them so easy. They laughed constantly and naturally fell into each moment together. Those candid interactions always create the best images.

LBI Photography for Maternity and Newborn Memories

A few weeks later, Vanessa and Matt welcomed their baby girl, Aria. Then they visited my South Jersey studio for their newborn session. Seeing them become parents honestly melted my heart.

Baby Aria was absolutely perfect during her session. She slept wonderfully and loved being wrapped snugly. We used soft neutral tones with touches of blush pink throughout the setup. As a result, the gallery felt timeless and elegant.

I especially loved capturing family photos with the three of them together. Vanessa and Matt looked so proud while holding their little girl. Furthermore, the connection between them already felt incredibly strong.

One of my favorite setups featured Aria in the moon prop with soft pink textures. Another favorite included her wrapped with the oversized bow. Those tiny details make newborn sessions extra memorable.

Working in LBI photography means documenting stories that continue growing over time. Sessions like this remind me why I love photography so much. I get to preserve milestones families never want to forget.

Vanessa and Matt trusted me through every major chapter of their lives. Because of that, this newborn session felt even more meaningful. I cannot wait to continue photographing their sweet family for years ahead.

If you are searching for timeless LBI photography, I would love to help tell your story too. Whether you want beach maternity photos or cozy newborn portraits, we can create something beautiful together.
