Scotland Run Golf Club Wedding in June | Williamstown, NJ | Marissa and Joe Married | Ultimate Edge Photography

Scotland Run Golf Club is one of my most favorite venues, no because I am on their preferred vendor list, but because this venue offers everything a couple could ever want or need for their special day. Scotland Run Golf Club offers an outdoor ceremony that is covered so everyone is protected if Mother Nature decides to rain and a beautiful ballroom spacious enough to fit all your guests comfortably. Furthermore, the staff and the food at Scotland Run Golf Club are truly the best! The staff goes above and beyond for the couple, the guest, and even the vendors which as a vendor, is a huge bonus because it makes our workday so much more pleasant! The food is also the tastiest, I honestly look forward to snagging a few bits from the cocktail hour it is that good!

Marissa and Joe got married on a hot Saturday in June. The day prior and even the whole weekend prior to Marissa and Joe’s wedding consisted of heavy rainstorms. Even though the day was quite hot, I think we lucked out very well having a beautiful sunny day with blue skies! Days like Marissa and Joe’s wedding day are ones that every couple dreams of for their wedding day! Not to mention the absolutely gorgeous cotton candy sunset and a fun-filled sparkler send-off we got at the end of the night too!

It could be the pregnancy hormones, more than likely was, but I cried like a little baby when capturing Marissa and Joe’s first dance. The reason was that halfway through their first dance they picked up their sweet 4-month-old boy to dance with them. This was the moment that the waterworks started for me and didn’t stop until the toasts! Marissa lost her mother, Tiffany, in 2019 so Marissa and her sister, Ashley, dedicated a dance to their mother. The mother-son dance between Joe and his mother Theresa was also a tear-jerker because of the connection there two shares! Their connection was so apparent in the images of their dance together!
