Sweetness, love, and joy filled every moment of this New Jersey Newborn Photoshoot for baby Haven. She has an angelic nature and was so lovely to photograph. With curious eyes full of wonder, she looked around during her waking moments, then settled down to sleep again. The black-and-white image of her yawning was caught right in the middle of these dreamy stages.
Swaddled in cozy wraps, I added some soft props like the felt balloon and heart. We also placed her gently in a basket, where she snuggled in like she was right at home. The moon-shaped basket is one of my favorites as it reminds me of nursery songs and stories from fond childhood memories.
We also had time for lifestyle photos of baby Haven with her parents individually and together. Cuddling each other and kissing her head, which has the lightest layer of hair, they are obviously so in love. What a beautiful family who are so excited for her arrival in the world and looking forward to all the precious family moments ahead.
Haven is a baby sister to two adorable little boys. I can’t share their photos as they are still completing the adoption process, but if you just imagine a couple of smiling cuties who dote on their newborn sibling, you will have the picture of them in your mind. With the toddlers and baby to care for, life will be busy and beautiful. As a mother of one, I am always in awe of parents with two or more kids.
