I absolutely love a challenging cake smash session. Especially when the theme is uniquely different and presents an exciting opportunity for creativity. Cecilia’s football cake smash session was exactly that. Her mom wanted a football theme but with a touch of girly charm. Maintaining the girly vibe while incorporating football elements was quite a task, but with the addition of pops of pink, we could strike the perfect balance.

Cecilia’s mom had provided me with some inspirational photos. And to my surprise, I managed to find the exact backdrop she liked. Sadly, I was having an impossible time trying to find something similar. I kept finding that the backdrop had been discontinued. Oh no! But through the power of a photography community, I was able to track down a used one. It was like finding a needle in a haystack, and I couldn’t have been happier!
