I met Megan and Kyle at the Starbucks in Galloway back in March of 2019 to talk about their wedding vision and inspiration. That was the moment I knew we would be a perfect fit for each other, it didn’t take long for us to click together! Obviously they ended up booking me for their wedding day and I could not be more honored that they chose me out of so many others to capture this special day for them!
These two were one of many that had to reschedule their wedding due to COVID. Their original date was supposed to take place in June, but government restrictions forced them to reschedule for September. I will say that the weather for their wedding in September was the best weather we have had all year long! It was sunny, comfortably warm with a slight breeze, and a cool starry night. The makings for a glorious wedding day!
This was my first time working at the Chalfonte Hotel and it held up to the hype that Megan and Kyle told me about. I love historic buildings and the Chalfonte Hotel had some amazing history to it! This hotel has stood tall through so much devastation such as Super Storm Sandy. Walking around the Chalfonte Hotel you could feel the history with the original carpeting, woodworking, and even hotel room doors. It is rare that I find a historic building that I actually like, but the Chalfonte Hotel was very impressive!
Megan and Kyle’s wedding ceremony took place outdoors under a gorgeous tent near the most beautiful tree at the Chalfonte Hotel. Their day was filled with all the traditional wedding day activities, but in a non-traditional way that normally takes place at the Chalfonte Hotel. Megan and Kyle danced their first dance together as husband and wife on the lawn of the Chalfonte Hotel, their cocktail hour and dinner took place on the porch, and dancing was hosted under the same tent they had their ceremony under just earlier in the day.
It was so apparent the love that these two had for one another all day long surrounded by all the closest family and friends! Thank you so much Megan and Kyle for trusting and allowing me to capture your special day! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Gans!!
This doll has become a wedding tradition for the women in Megan’s family to pass it down from bride to bride
Dance because you’re finally getting married!!
Cheers for the new Mr. and Mrs.!!
Megan tossed her bouquet off the balcony of the Chalfonte Hotel, which is a hotel wedding tradition!
Megan’s father, Greg, had everyone bursting out with laughter during his speech!
