Jersey Shore Newborn Photographer Featuring Summer Rose

Being a Jersey Shore Newborn Photographer is one of the best decisions I have made for my photography business! I say this because now, more than ever, I have the most time possible with my son, Maverick. Even as a full-time working mother, I still had the opportunity to watch him say his first words and his first steps. This was my biggest fear when returning to work after maternity leave. I was so scared I would miss these precious and considerable milestones in his life. Luckily, since transitioning from wedding to newborn photography, I have been able to work from home more often. This allows me to spend more time with my fast-growing son, which makes my heart so full!

Most South Jersey wedding couples know Michael is my regular second shooter. You can check out some of his second shooting work HERE from a recent wedding we shot together. Michael and his wife, Kim, welcomed another beautiful baby into this work, making them a family of 5 now! Summer is the newest addition to their family, and she was a surprise and a blessing after having two boys before her.

It is not all rainbows and butterflies.

People sometimes think that being a jersey shore newborn photographer is easy. I can tell you it is not all rainbows and butterflies all the time. Sure, I get to capture and snuggle with newborn babies for a living, which is the best thing in the world! However, sometimes these cuddly little newborn babies are rebellious and keep me on my toes for the entire session.

Summer Rose was one of those little spitfires and was wide awake during her session and refused to fall asleep, so we just rolled with it! Sometimes we can’t get a sleepy baby for a newborn session, which is okay! No matter what, we will still capture their unique portraits, preserving their tiny details for a lifetime!
