NJ Cake Smash Photographer with Winnie!

She’s back! Our beautiful Winnie, who you know from her newborn photo shoot is back for a NJ Cake Smash Photographer session. And she has grown up so fast, into the most gorgeous toddler. 

To celebrate her many milestones in the first year of life, her mom Melody wanted a NJ Cake Smash Photographer session with a minimalistic theme. So I styled a modern setting with white and gold balloons, a wooden chair and block letters spelling out the word one. Happy birthday to the lovely one-year-old girl! Winnie arrived with smiles and the prettiest baby blue frilly dress. We had a few outfit changes and photos with mom who is also absolutely gorgeous.

Winnie was having a blast until it came time to smash the cake. She touched the iced sweet treat and her expression changed to one of displeasure. Perhaps it was sensory overload for her or she simply wasn’t in the mood for food. A little taste and a bash of the spoon, but the smiles didn’t return until we took the cake away. A warm bath fixed everything luckily and also gave us more cute photos for her baby’s first birthday album.
